About GTI

As a team, we interact with the Swedish Innovation ecosystem and their counterparts in the U.S. We work to match Swedish/American Research, Development, & Innovation Programs and solution providers with business opportunities – all to combat the climate challenge and support cities' transformation to climate neutrality. We cover the following thematic areas: smart green buildings, transport solutions, and energy solutions & supply, all in a city context. The founders behind Sweden-US Green Transition are Vinnova, the Swedish Energy Agency, the Embassy of Sweden in Washington D.C., and Business Sweden.

Your Role at GTI

As Senior Advisor for Strategic Partnerships, your primary work area is to matchmake and lead projects and activities. You will interact with stakeholders within governmental agencies, universities, Swedish Innovation Programs, Team Sweden colleagues, American stakeholders, and Swedish green-tech solution providers. You are responsible for building strong relationships, designing, and running analytical work, and ensuring that insights and recommendations are well supported and packaged into consortia of several companies or Innovation projects.

You will be part of a high-performing team of four GTI colleagues, primarily based in Washington, D.C., and one based in San Francisco. GTI is a unique initiative (no other equivalent exists yet in the world). By joining this dedicated team, you will have the opportunity to have a great impact on accelerating the green transition internationally, participate in the greater good, and shape the structure of GTI going forward.
