GTI Extended for Two More Years!

The Green Transition Initiative (GTI) will continue its mission of driving U.S.-Sweden collaboration, focusing on cities.

Three Flagship Programs:

🔹 Smart Green Buildings – Improve building performance with innovative materials, energy-efficient solutions & innovative construction.

🔹 Urban Energy Solutions – Advancing efficient heating, cooling & innovative energy solutions.

🔹 Sustainable City Transport – Driving Vision Zero, 15-minute cities & intelligent mobility solutions.

Launched with the D.C. team in place in the fall of 2022, established by Business Sweden, Swedish Energy Agency, Vinnova, and Embassy of Sweden in USA to strengthen collaboration between Sweden and the United States. Over the past three years, GTI has facilitated partnerships, driven innovation projects, and created business opportunities to support a more prosperous future.

"We are excited to continue GTI as a platform for U.S.-Sweden collaboration on urban transformation. Now more than ever, we need to accelerate smart solutions for thriving cities—future-proof transport, energy-efficient buildings, and intelligent energy systems. Let's make it happen! — Linda Andrén, GTI Executive Director
