In Durham, North Carolina, a new EV charging site was built entirely using electric construction equipment from leading Swedish companies--Husqvarna Construction, Atlas Copco, and Volvo Construction Equipment. This marks the first time these companies have collaborated, not only to showcase their cutting-edge electric machinery, but also to demonstrate the real-world potential of a fully electrified construction site. The success of this project underscores the capability of electric-supported construction to reduce climate impact, noise, and emissions. By working together, these companies have proven that collaborative efforts are key to scaling solutions that will drive us closer to global climate goals.
