Building electric with electric: We are thrilled to announce the launch of the first fully electric installation of EV charging stations in the United States!

We have worked with Volvo Construction Equipment, Husqvarna Construction, and Atlas Copco Group, leaders in electric construction equipment, on this groundbreaking initiative at Kempower’s North American headquarters in Durham, North Carolina, alongside local contractor EV Revolution.

This project stands as a testament to the transformative potential of cross-border collaboration, showcasing how forward-thinking companies and cities can tangibly mitigate CO2 emissions. By leveraging existing technology, it pioneers a more sustainable approach from the outset, beginning already at the construction and installation phase of new infrastructure by utilizing electric machines and tools.

Today, we had the privilege of visiting the project site as the installation is undergoing, together with the companies as well as the Durham County Government, City of Durham, Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce, North Carolina State University, NC Clean Energy Technology Center and Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster, witnessing firsthand the excitement and innovation driving this project.
