In February, GTI visited The George Washington University School of Business's full-time Global MBA students in the Consulting Abroad Program. During the spring semester, the class works on consulting projects with different international firms before going to the company's country for about two weeks in May. Half of the students will go to Stockholm and Luleå in Sweden this year.
“CAP is a cornerstone of the Global MBA experience, giving students the opportunity to apply their skills to real-world business challenges abroad while delivering impactful solutions for industry partners across diverse global markets,” says Anna Helm, Ph.D. Faculty Director, GW-CIBER & Associate Teaching Professor of International Business, The George Washington University.
Anna continues that Sweden is an exceptional CAP destination, offering students the chance to engage with one of the world’s most innovative and sustainable economies while gaining firsthand experience in a dynamic business environment where industry, government, and academia work together to drive global success.
"From Linda Andrén's talk, the GW students were impressed by GTI's innovative approach to connecting diverse stakeholders to drive meaningful progress toward a future that is both sustainable and economically viable. In particular, they were struck by GTI's role in creating the “glue” that holds complex systems together illustrated through the example of electrifying construction sites in Virginia to reduce emissions and improve efficiency," Anna Helm concludes.
At GTI, we are excited to support the next generation of global business leaders and wish the students the best of luck as they take on their consulting projects!
