Team Sweden had the great pleasure to invite you to the Green Transition Summit in Silicon Valley in February 22nd. The summit brought leaders from Academia, Industry and Government from Sweden to explore deeper collaboration between Sweden and California. With the objective of contributing to advancing innovation, setting successful policies, and deploying solutions to advance the green transition.

The program for the Green Transition Summit was carefully curated to be centered around four pivotal domains for driving emission reductions: with focus on How AI and exponential Tech can accelerate the Green Transition? Which Solutions and Policies are essential for the U.S. and Sweden to reach targeted Climate Goals? And how can Sweden and the U.S. work together to navigate the path towards sustainable societies?

There was over 100 participants and feature engaging panel-sessions and speakers across Industry, Academia and Government, including Marcus Wallenberg, Nobel Laureate Dr. Steven Chu, Paul Hawken, and Suzanne DiBianca, EVP and Chief Impact Officer at Salesforce, among others. They covered important themes to drive awareness and enable collaboration across sectors and between countries – with the objective to contribute to advancing innovation, setting successful policies and deploying solutions to advance the green transition.

The summit was an auspicious opportunity to share knowledge and explore collaboration and partnership opportunities between the U.S. and Sweden, between companies and between public stakeholders, and across industries.
